As a proud constituent of New Abirem, I commend Hon. Charles Asuako Owiredu for his unwavering patriotism and dedication to the development of our constituency. The Member of Parliament has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots development by actively engaging with local businesses, food vendors, and community welfare initiatives. In an inspiring and unexpected move, the MP made a surprise stop at a roadside food joint, where he enjoyed a plate of Gari and Beans, locally known as Gob3 while interacting with vendors and patrons alike.
Hon. Owiredu used the opportunity to share insightful business development ideas, encouraging local entrepreneurs to harness innovation and expand their businesses. He emphasized the importance of patronizing locally made foods, not only for their rich nutritional value but also for the economic boost they bring to the community. By supporting small-scale food vendors, the constituency can strengthen its local economy, create jobs, and improve livelihoods.
Beyond promoting local businesses, Hon. Owiredu also commissioned mechanized boreholes in the constituency to improve access to clean and safe drinking water. This initiative is a significant step toward addressing water scarcity and improving the overall health and well-being of residents. By investing in such essential infrastructure, the MP has reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing the quality of life for his constituents.
