The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Birim North District Assembly, Hon. Abdul Hakeem Antwi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to inclusive development and improved healthcare delivery within the district.

In a heartwarming gesture, the DCE distributed various items to persons with disabilities (PWDs) to support their livelihoods. Among the items were sewing machines, a deep freezer, and other essential tools aimed at empowering beneficiaries to become self-reliant and economically active.

During the presentation ceremony, Hon. Antwi encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items provided, stressing that the government remains committed to ensuring that no one is left behind in the district’s development agenda.

In addition to supporting PWDs, the DCE also presented medical equipment and health materials to the New Abirem Government Hospital. The donation, he noted, was to help enhance quality healthcare delivery and ease the hospital’s operational challenges.

Reacting to the gesture, Mr. William Boadi, Executive Director of Educate Africa Institute (EAI), commended Hon. Abdul Hakeem Antwi for his visionary leadership and inclusive approach to governance.
