REPORT ON EAI DONATION TRIP TO SEKONDI-TAKORADI CENTRAL PRISONS
Date: 2nd January 2025.
As part of its Giving Back to the Community initiative, the Educate Africa Institute (EAI) successfully organized a donation trip to the Sekondi-Takoradi Central Prisons on 2nd January 2025. This charitable visit aimed to provide essential items and inspire the inmates through motivational messages.
Items Donated.
The donation package included a variety of necessities such as:
▪️Assorted drinks
▪️Bottled and sachet water
▪️Rice
▪️Beans
▪️A gallon of cooking oil
▪️Other essential items
These contributions were made to ensure the inmates’ basic needs were met and to bring some comfort during this period.
Engagement with Inmates.
In addition to the donations, representatives from EAI engaged the inmates in a session of words of advice and motivation. This interaction aimed to uplift their spirits, encourage personal growth, and foster hope for the future.
