Educate Africa Institute (EAI) successfully brought its 2023 Attitudinal Change Seminar to a memorable close at the Countryside Orphanage Basic School in Awutu Bawjiase. This impactful event, championed by Gregory Diaw Addae, Administrator of EAI, and Regina Akosua Amenyenu, a dedicated EAI volunteer, marked the climax of a series of seminars aimed at promoting positive mindset shifts among young people.
The seminar focused on instilling values such as discipline, responsibility, and perseverance, particularly in the students of the orphanage, who face unique challenges in their academic and personal lives. Through engaging discussions and interactive sessions, the event inspired the students to adopt a positive attitude towards education and life in general.
Gregory Diaw Addae, in his address, emphasized the importance of attitude in overcoming life’s hurdles. “No matter the circumstances we face, it is our attitude that determines how far we go. With the right mindset, there are no limits to what you can achieve,” he encouraged the students.
Regina Akosua Amenyenu, who played a key role in organizing the seminar, also expressed her belief in the transformative power of attitudinal change. She highlighted the importance of nurturing positive habits from a young age, especially for children in vulnerable situations, and encouraged the students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
The event was met with enthusiasm and gratitude from the students and staff of the Countryside Orphanage Basic School. The seminar’s conclusion at this venue was a testament to EAI’s commitment to reaching underserved communities and empowering the next generation with the tools needed to create lasting change in their lives.
As the 2023 edition of the Attitudinal Change Seminar comes to an end, Educate Africa Institute looks forward to continuing its mission of fostering educational and societal development across Africa, with future seminars already in the works.
