ECG Missing Containers Will End Up in The Usual Pattern Where Committees are Formed to “Investigate” Crimes Committed by Well-known Thieves – William Boadi

Dear Minister of Energy,

Educate Africa Institute (EAI) is deeply appalled by the rampant state-sponsored thievery that continues to plague Ghana, with the latest scandal being the missing ECG containers. This brazen act of corruption not only cripples our energy sector but also further erodes public trust in government institutions.

We refuse to accept the usual pattern where committees are formed to “investigate” crimes committed by well-known thieves, only for the matter to fade into oblivion. The people of Ghana deserve better. The Ministry of Energy must take a bold and innovative approach to addressing such criminal acts rather than recycling the same failed tactics.

EAI demands immediate and concrete action to recover the missing ECG containers and hold the culprits accountable. The era of impunity must end! If this government is truly committed to transparency and development, then it must prove so with decisive action, not empty rhetoric.
We will not stand by and watch public resources vanish under the watch of those entrusted to protect them. This is a warning: failure to act decisively on this matter will only deepen public outrage and further expose the incompetence within the system.

Enough is enough! The people of Ghana demand accountability.

Signed
