FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Educate Africa Institute (EAI) Successfully Holds Annual SHS Course Selection Event for BECE Candidates in Akyem-Nkwateng
Akyem-Nkwateng, Ghana, 23/05/2025. The Educate Africa Institute (EAI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to educational empowerment by successfully organizing its annual Senior High School (SHS) Course Selection event for all Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in Akyem-Nkwateng, under the Birim North Municipality.
This year’s edition of the impactful program was spearheaded by EAI’s dedicated Birim North Municipality Coordinator, Mr. Isaac Kwaku Mensah, with strong support from lead volunteer, Mr. Emmanuel Ayitey. The event drew participation from hundreds of candidates, along with teachers, parents, and local stakeholders.
The occasion was graced by Mr. Nyarko Richmond, who represented the Municipal Chief Executive of Birim North, Hon. Hakkim. Mr. Richard Amfo also honored the event on behalf of the Project FoFA OA Foundation, demonstrating the importance of collaborative efforts in shaping the educational future of Ghana’s youth.
Participants, especially the BECE candidates and their parents, appreciated the Educate Africa Institute for organizing such a vital program. They highlighted the clarity it brought in making informed choices about SHS course selection and the significant impact it will have on the student’s academic and career journeys.
Looking Ahead
With the program’s growing success and relevance, EAI is looking to deepen its partnership with the Birim North Municipal Assembly to replicate this model across the entire district and eventually scale it to the national level.
EAI is, therefore, calling on NGOs, corporate bodies, individuals, government agencies, and all educational stakeholders to support and sustain this initiative not only for today’s learners but for future generations.
